Seriously though....If you like pumpkin spice-y flavored goodies, then you'll love this hot cocoa.
One sip & you'll be saying :
JEEZ LOUISE, This is good!
My kids even really like it....And they don't lie when it comes to trying new kinds of food.
Basically, if they don't like it- they DON"T eat it.
Plain & Simple.
They cut right to the chase. No messing around trying that whole "spare Mom's feelings" bit.
Brutally honest, I tell ya.
That reminds me of a comment my daughter blurted out the other day when I was trying on my new Eddie Bauer "Mom Jeans". She took one look at them on me and said " Mom. Those jeans make your junk look like the back end of an SUV."
No fancy photo shoot here. Took this pic seconds before my kids snatched it up from the kitchen table.
Slow Cooker Pumpkin Hot Cocoa

2/3 Cup Hot Chocolate Mix
1/2 Cup Pumpkin Puree
2 teaspoons Pumpkin Pie Spice
1 teaspoon Vanilla
Pinch of Salt
Wisk All ingredients in a 4 quart Slow Cooker. Cook on Low for 2 hours, stirring occasionally. * Some pumpkin may settle to the bottom, lightly wisk before serving. Top with a great big dollop of Whipped Cream. Makes 6 small servings, or 4 large.
