It makes me remember back to when my mom would gather up apples from the trees that grew around the farm pasture. She would make a great big deep dish 9x13 pie- scratch crust and all......I couldn't get enough of that stuff when I was a kid.
Slow Cooker Apple Pie

Step One:
• 8 tart apples, peeled, sliced
• 1 1/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
• 1/4 teaspoon allspice
• 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
• 1 1/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Step Two:
• 3/4 cup
milk
• 2 tablespoons butter, softened
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1/2 cup Bisquick
• 2 tablespoons butter, softened
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1/2 cup Bisquick
Step Three:
• 1 cup Bisquick
• 1/3 cup brown sugar
• 3 tablespoons cold butter
• 1/3 cup brown sugar
• 3 tablespoons cold butter
This recipe is assembled in 3 steps: Apples, bisquick mixture, and crumb topping.
1. In a large bowl, toss apple slices with cinnamon, allspice and nutmeg, then add coated apples to lightly greased crockpot.
2. In a bowl, combine milk, softened butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla and 1/2 cup Bisquick, then spoon over apples.
3. Combine 1 cup Bisquick and brown sugar. Combine butter with mixture using a pastry blender, mix until crumbly. Sprinkle this mixture over top of apple mixture. Add a dash of cinnamon on top.
4. Cover; cook on low 6-7 hours or until apples are soft.
Serve warm with a dollop of vanilla ice cream...
