Liebster Award Nominee..Who?..Me?

I was having a "poopy" day.  I had literally been hollered at by a McDonald's Drive-Thru attendant.  Seriously?  Does that really happen?  I wasn't asking for trouble, in fact, I was asking for a small, non fat, caramel Latte. 

 I could ramble on, but I won't....

I'd rather talk about "nice" things & better yet, NICE people.  Like little Miss Claire @ The Rustic Pig who nominated me for the Liebster Award. 
For those of you that don't know what the Liebster award is (like me)....This award is given by fellow bloggers to a blog for being an up and coming blog with less than 200 followers. Liebster is a German word meaning dear, sweet, kind, nice, good, beloved, lovely, kind, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing and welcome.

  11 Random Facts about me....

 

1. I write left handed, but throw & catch balls, kids, food, etc...with my right hand. Weird. I know.
2.  I don't like store bought strawberry jam. (Sorry Smuckers)  The strawberries are gobby.
3 I have a scar above my left eye from arm wrestling a boy in 4th grade.  He won.
4. I love having a nice, clean house. 
5. I don't like to clean.
6. Like Claire, I color my own hair.  (my close friends are probably saying: uh yeah, we can tell)
7.I was voted class clown my senior year of high school. (jealous?)
8. I love sunflowers. One summer, I planted a whole row of 50 or so along the whole length of our property.  It was beautiful & the birds loved the seeds at wintertime.
9. My kids & I love animals, hubby not so much.  Although, we do catch him loving on our cat (fat louie) when he thinks no one is looking. He talks baby talk to him.
10. I sometimes like exercise. Sometimes not.  This past winter, I did 11 of the 12 weeks of the P90X program, then I hurt my knee. Hmm. Too many front kick-back-kick combos. Damn you, Tony Horton.
11. I extremely dislike leftovers.  Very rarely will you find me eating something that has been made the day before.
